Golden Retrievers have been a part of our family since 1987. Throughout our 20 yrs. in the Air Force, traveling from Italy, Texas, and Maryland our dogs always accompanied us. Now we are retired and living in our home state of Ohio, since 2004. It was around this time that I started looking for ways to show off my kennel name with a Golden Retriever Magnet. Very disappointed in the Golden Retriever silhouettes available at the time, I felt many did not even look like my breed. Since I enjoyed drawing, arts and crafts so many yrs. ago, I decided to draw upon my 17 yrs. experience around the Conformation ring to guide me. I then translated my Drawings into Decals through the help of my husband and his great knowledge of Computer Software. Since my Kennel Name is “Treasure Goldens”, we thought it was fitting to keep “Treasure” and add “Icons”. Since one of the meanings of “Icon” is pictorial representation. My eldest daughter Erin and I travel to Dog Shows occasionally to set up our booth. We have really enjoyed seeing old friends & making new ones. The biggest satisfaction I get is when I drive up to a show site & see my Decals or Magnets on the many different vehicles. Everything from the Ultra Large 40’ Luxury Motor home, to the Mini Vans and Suvs. This is not a job for us; we do it, because we love it! Teresa and Erin Smith
